After today, it's a nice relief that this is again an easier challenge. I had fun on this one !

The characters are symbols from the alien movies that have been recently used by apple.

However, you don't need those.

You can either do it the old-fashioned way and guess the "the" words and work from there, or you can swap same symbols by some character and solve that using a cryptgram solver.

Whatever you do, it results in:

"at journeys end she found herself adrift with just her cat the nostromo just fiery wreckage what was the name of her esdape pod"

Either you're a hardcore alien nerd (i'm not) or you use some google-fu to get to
